One Year Masters Course

Building
This course includes both repairs and building.  After eleven months, students have the option of staying at the school to continue their studies and work experience; or of travelling to Umea, Sweden for work experience. (see below for information about Umea). The Sweden option has an additional cost of $2500.00 Canadian. The work experience takes the place of a final exam.  Students are evaluated for their punctual attendance and work performance during this time.  This work experience is part of your reference to determine a recommendation from the school to potential employers.
Month One: Repairs – set ups, fret dress, nuts and saddles, electronics	Month Nine and Ten; Build an acoustic arch top
Month Two – Month Four: Build an electric guitar – strat or tele style Build an acoustic Guitar – dreadnaught style	Month Eleven: Repairs Resume Writing Job Search Finishing any unfinished work
Month Five through eight: Students choice for building	Month Twelve: Work Experience Students will build a maximum of Seven instruments.
